A powerful class workout, demos in shinken, bokken kumitachi and a superb iai demonstration by Aloe Sensei closed out the training part of the session. A reception for Aloe Sensei was held at the home of Scudieri Sensei and Ellsworth Sensei.

Aloe Sensei Stated: “I have been in many dojo both here and in Japan and you (Scudieri) and Ellsworth Sensei have something special there, It is truly an honor to be part of the Delaware Budokan and your system”

A note or two:

Mr. Paul Timmons is a world class iron man tri- athlete and the only person to ever swim across the 15 mile wide treacherous Delaware Bay.

If Aloe Sensei looks familiar to many of you out there, it’s because he and his partner, Mr. Jerry Figgini, have and still do, grace the pages of the Asian World of Martial Arts Catalogue.
